MPS is seeking Traffic Signaller for the Allistonarea. Fulltime. Only those who send a resume will be considered. If you have questions, telephone us, do not post/email your questions.
As a Traffic Signaler, you are responsible for coordinating traffic in and out of construction and industrial zones. You are the extra pair of eyes when it comes to blind spots around moving vehicles as well as for the general safety of pedestrian traffic around these vehicles.
You may be responsible for assisting with the set-up of signs, barriers and traffic cones.
Responsibilities
- Execute effective traffic management plan with the proper equipment
- Effective communication with your work partner to conduct the safe flow of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.
Qualifications: Must be fluent in English
- We will provide in-class and on-the-job training
- Access to reliable transportation to commute to different job sites
- Available for full time work, Monday to Friday days. (68AM to 35PM, all morning shift, but time varies by site)
- Maintain a standing posture for long periods of time outdoors
- Must provide your own pair of CSA Certified (Green Triangle) Grade 1 steel toe safety boots.
