Role Description The Treatment Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Toronto, ON, responsible for guiding patients through their recommended dental treatments and ensuring a smooth experience. Day-to-day duties include reviewing treatment plans with patients, explaining procedures and financial options, and coordinating appointments to align with provider availability and patient preferences. The role manages insurance-related inquiries, verifies coverage, and assists with pre-authorizations and payment arrangements.
The Treatment
Coordinator works closely with dentists, hygienists, and administrative staff to maintain accurate records,
support case acceptance, and uphold Monarch Dentistry’s standards of patient-centered care.
Qualifications
Strong skills in Treatment Planning and understanding of Dental Care to effectively communicate recommended procedures and options.
Knowledge of Insurance processes, including verification, claims, and pre-authorizations, to support patients with their coverage and financial questions.
Excellent Customer Service and Communication abilities to build trust, provide clear information, and handle patient concerns professionally.
Previous experience in a dental or medical office environment is preferred, especially in a coordination or administrative role.
Proficiency with dental practice management software, scheduling systems, and basic office applications.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple patient cases and tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting.
Ability to work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
Relevant post-secondary education in dental administration, healthcare administration, or a related field is an asset.
