Duties

- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks to transport goods between locations, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, route documentation, and delivery records to ensure transparency and accountability
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and warehouse teams to coordinate schedules and resolve any logistical issues promptly




- Follow all safety protocols during driving, loading, unloading, and yard activities to prevent accidents or injuries
- Assist with yard duties as needed, including vehicle maintenance checks and yard organization

Experience

- Proven 1 year experience operating heavy trucks or commercial vehicles with a clean driving record
- Robust driving skills with knowledge of traffic laws, safety procedures, and route planning
- Excellent communication skills for clear coordination with team members and dispatchers
- Basic understanding of vehicle maintenance checks and safety standards
