THE ROLE
This role is ideal for a video-first content creator with a strong strategic mindset. Beyond creating scroll‑stopping content, you understand why content works, how platforms prioritize it, and how to align video execution with business and marketing goals.
You are confident not only filming and editing content, but also building and presenting a clear social media plan that outlines how you will drive growth, engagement, and other key performance indicators (KPIs). You’re comfortable using data, trends, and platform insights to continuously optimize content performance.
Hands‑on video content creation experience is required. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Content Creation & Execution
Create social‑first video content from concept to final edit
Film high‑quality brand, product, lifestyle, and in‑store content
Be comfortable appearing on camera (talking to camera, trends, demos, BTS)
Edit short‑form and vertical content optimized for Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube
Apply strong fundamentals in framing, angles, pacing, composition, and storytelling
Strategy, Planning & Performance
Develop and execute social media content strategies aligned with brand goals and campaign objectives
Translate marketing briefs and KPIs into clear video concepts and content plans
Present a structured approach to hitting performance targets (e.g. reach, engagement, growth, CTR, conversions where applicable)
Analyze content performance and platform insights to optimize future content
Stay current on social trends, formats, algorithms,
and best practices—and apply them strategically
Collaborate with the Marketing team on campaign planning, content calendars, and executions
Organization & Collaboration
Participate in on‑location or in‑store shoots as needed
Organize footage, assets, and project files efficiently SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Required
2–4 years of video content creation experience and/or formal education in videography, film, or media production
Strong understanding of social media strategy, performance metrics, and platform behavior
Experience creating content for food, retail, lifestyle, or consumer brands
Ability to build and articulate a clear social content strategy tied to KPIs and targets
Strong understanding of visual storytelling, framing, pacing, and angles
Comfortable shooting content using qualified equipment and/or high‑quality mobile setups
Comfortable being in front of the camera when required
Experience editing videos end‑to‑end
Proficiency with Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar
Portfolio or demo reel showcasing social‑ready, performance‑driven video content Nice to Have
Photography skills (brand or lifestyle)
Experience with lighting and audio equipment
Experience with pre‑production planning or storyboarding
Experience interpreting analytics and adjusting content strategy accordingly LEVEL & EXPECTATIONS
This role is best suited for a junior to intermediate content creator who:
Has a strong creative and strategic foundation
Understands how to align content with KPIs and business objectives
Is confident filming, being filmed, and presenting ideas
Can own content shoots and content strategies independently
