As a key member reporting to the Senior Director of Platform Engineering, you will lead the roadmap for shared services, architecting reusable solutions that improve Dialpad’s developer experience. This role requires expertise in distributed systems, robust debugging skills, and collaboration to drive impactful engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define a roadmap for Shared Services over 1-3 years
- Write comprehensive architectural design documents
- Provide project resource estimates and requirements
- Execute platformization projects to meet delivery deadlines
- Develop features resulting in low defect reports
Requirements:
- Experience in backend-focused software engineering
- Deep expertise in architecting complex systems
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science
- Experience with Python and Google Cloud Platform
- Strong mentoring skills for engineer development
