ONIT Construction is seeking a Site Supervisor with a minimum of 3 years of relevant ICI supervisory experience. This role is well suited to someone who thrives in a leadership position and enjoys working in a fast-paced, hands-on construction environment.

ROLE OVERVIEW

As a Site Supervisor, you will oversee day-to-day site operations with a strong focus on safety, coordination, quality, and schedule. Our projects primarily consist of small to mid-sized ICI renovations, retrofits, additions, and facility upgrades.

You will work closely with project managers, subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and clients to help ensure each project is completed safely, efficiently, on time, and on budget.

Our head office is located in Burlington, and travel to project sites throughout the GTHA and surrounding areas is required.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential hazards

Supervise, schedule, and coordinate trades, subcontractors, equipment, deliveries, and site activities

Liaise with project managers, engineers, architects, consultants, and clients

Enforce company safety policies and applicable Ontario regulations

Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly site documentation

Communicate regularly with the project management and health and safety teams





Review and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Monitor workmanship, quality, site progress, and overall coordination

Identify and communicate site issues, delays, and required corrective actions

Maintain a proactive, organized, and safety-first approach

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 3 years of relevant ICI site supervisory experience

Valid Ontario G-Class driver’s licence

Strong knowledge of Ontario construction safety requirements and regulations

Experience coordinating subcontractors, trades, equipment, and deliveries

Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications

Comfortable working in a hands-on construction environment

Strong leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Robust verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work occasional extended hours based on project requirements

ASSETS

Experience working within a COR-certified health and safety system

Familiarity with Site Docs or another digital health and safety platform

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other basic digital tools

Valid Working at Heights certification

Valid First Aid and CPR certification

Basics of Supervising training

Training will be provided where required.

JOB DETAILS
Job Type: Contract
Schedule: Monday to Friday, with hours varying depending on project requirements
Compensation: Competitive and based on experience

Location: Burlington reporting office, with project sites throughout the GTHA and surrounding areas
