Pacer Group is seeking a Senior AS400 Developer in Brampton, ON for a contract role. Enjoy a flexible 2-3 days onsite per week while utilizing your 8+ years of IBM i experience.

As a key player in this telecom domain project, your work will span the development and maintenance of crucial applications. Expertise in RPG, SQL, and legacy system troubleshooting, as well as a background in telecom billing is highly desired.

Strong documentation and stakeholder communication skills will be essential for success in this role.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop applications on IBM i using RPG and CL languages
- Troubleshoot and provide support for existing legacy systems
- Create and maintain technical documentation for solutions




- Collaborate effectively with project stakeholders
- Manage batch jobs and scheduled processes for optimal results

Requirements:

- At least 8 years of hands-on IBM i (AS400) development experience
- Solid knowledge of RPG, RPGLE, and COBOL
- Familiar with IBM MQ, Web Services, and RDi
- Must be eligible for Government of Canada Security Clearance
- Prior experience with telecom billing preferred
