The most important aspect of our company’s operations is our dedicated people; our people will always be the source of our success and their safety The Moving Sales Consultant is responsible for acquiring and soliciting new business and providing ultimate professional level of customer satisfaction.
The Moving
Consultant will perform estimating, pricing, quoting and overall customer service on any given move to solicit business and improve profitability as outlined in the corporate mission statement.
Duties And Responsibilities Builds positive relationships with current and potential customers
Performing in-house estimates
Working with pricing tools on mobile and in office
Prepare quotes, bring to proposal stage and follow-up in a timely manner
Solicit and source business from various sources
Oversee the total move from the time the move is booked to delivery
Sell local and long-distance moves
Conduct customer after sales service calls and development calls with existing customers
Providing rate quotes to customers
Establish rates, carrier and set-up, pick-up and follow-up on delivery
Ensure payment for all moves has been collected
Provides regular communication with operations team
Participates in sales management meetings
Track sales activities and prepare sales reports
Participate in all safety initiatives
Partners with management on other tasks to achieve organizational goals Qualifications Three to five years’ experience in sales in a corporate and or residential moving industry. Solid interpersonal and social skills to build customer relationships. Intuitive organizational skills to manage the daily operations while at the same time anticipate future opportunities or challenges. Excellent time management skills to work independently, while managing multiple tasks in a fast pace environment.
Experience using all Microsoft office programs, customer relationship management programs, and other moving software programs is preferable. Post-Secondary education preferred. Will be required have valid license and own vehicle to make customer service calls.
