The Beach Hangar is looking for enthusiastic, organized, and community-minded Beach Volleyball Coaches to help deliver exceptional youth and adult programming. This role is perfect for someone who is passionate about coaching, creating positive experiences, and building a welcoming workplace where players of every skill level can thrive.

Working alongside your coaching team, you'll help plan and deliver engaging practices, mentor young athletes, communicate with families, and contribute to the continued growth of our youth and adult volleyball programs.

Key Responsibilities

Program Delivery

- Plan and facilitate engaging beach volleyball practices.
- Coach athletes of varying ages and skill levels in a positive, encouraging environment.
- Deliver programs independently and collaboratively with other coaches.
- Adapt practices and activities based on player abilities and group dynamics.
- Provide constructive feedback that supports player development and confidence.

Player & Family Experience

- Build strong relationships with players.
- Communicate with management regarding player progress, program expectations, and any concerns.
- Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every player feels valued and supported.
- Encourage players to return and promote re-registration for future programs to keep growing as players

Program Operations

- Organize and lead a mid-season youth tournament.
- Assist with court setup, including adjusting net heights and maintaining organized playing spaces.




- Ensure equipment and courts are prepared for safe, efficient programming.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is someone who:

- Has strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Possesses a solid understanding of volleyball fundamentals and how they translate to beach volleyball.
- Has experience planning practices or athletic programs.
- Demonstrates excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
- Can think quickly and adapt to changing situations.
- Brings a positive, energetic, and welcoming personality.
- Is passionate about helping athletes develop both on and off the court.

Required Qualifications

- Standard First Aid & CPR certification.
- Vulnerable Sector Check (or ability to obtain one before employment).
- Smart Serve Certification.
- Previous coaching or instructional experience is considered an asset.
