Oulton College is seeking a qualified instructor to teach Microbiology, including associated laboratory components, within our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program.
This is a part-time teaching opportunity requiring approximately six hours per week. Classes are delivered in person at Oulton College in Moncton, New Brunswick campus; therefore, candidates must be able to teach on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Microbiology and associated laboratory components.
- Prepare and deliver lectures, laboratory activities, assessments, and learning materials.
- Evaluate student performance and provide timely feedback.
- Maintain accurate academic records and uphold academic standards.
- Foster a supportive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Master’s degree (completed or in progress) in a relevant field such as Microbiology, Biology, or Health Sciences.
Candidates nearing completion of their Master’s degree are encouraged to apply.
- Solid knowledge of microbiology.
- Relevant teaching, research, laboratory, healthcare, or industry experience.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to engage and support students in a post-secondary learning environment.
- Applicants are not required to have a Nursing background.
