The Simulated Patient Educator will work closely with Standardized Patients, Healthcare Professionals, and Teaching Associates to enhance educational experiences in Academic Health Sciences. You will manage program coordination and be involved in developing effective training and evaluation materials.
Your expertise will support collaborative relationships with partners and contribute to Objective Structured Clinical Exams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Recruit and train Standardized Patients, Healthcare Professionals, and Teaching Associates
- Ensure a respectful environment by following ASPE Standards of Best Practice
- Collaborate with stakeholders for successful educational event delivery
- Plan and execute SP recruitment and appreciation initiatives
- Evaluate simulation-based educational events for continuous improvement
Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or relevant diploma with experience
- 1-3 years in teaching, coaching, or healthcare-related fields
- Robust organizational and scheduling skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- High discretion in maintaining confidentiality
