About the Role
The Company is seeking an Interim Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide essential leadership and stability during an executive transition. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administrative and operational management of the organization, including financial oversight.
This role involves working closely with the Board of Directors to ensure effective governance, and with the team to maintain solid donor relationships and implement a plan to grow philanthropic revenues. The Interim CEO will also play a key role in supporting and guiding employees through the transition,
and in assessing the organization's operational and team strengths to provide the Board with insights into the competencies required for a new permanent CEO.
Candidates for the Interim CEO position must have a background as a CEO, Executive Director, or Interim CEO/ED in a Canadian charity, with a strong emphasis on financial management competence. The role is pivotal in the company's mission to improve the lives of those affected by lymphoma through education, support, advocacy, and research.
The ideal candidate will be able to work with the Board to ensure the organization's strategic goals are met, and to provide the necessary support to the team during this period of change. The Interim CEO may also be considered for the permanent role, and as such, a deep commitment to the values and vision of the company is essential.
