What you'll be doing
As an Analyst on the Canadian Depositary Receipts (CDRs) team within the Wealth Solutions Group at CIBC Global Markets, you will play a key role in supporting the growth and distribution of the CDR platform across all wealth channels, including full-service advisors, brokerage firms, and self-directed investors. You will work closely with partners across sales, product management, marketing, trading, operations, technology, and communications to help drive awareness, adoption, and ongoing success of the CDR product suite. Working alongside a collaborative and entrepreneurial team, you will contribute to sales enablement initiatives, marketing campaigns, educational content development, dealer engagement efforts, website and digital communications, and new product launches. You will support business development activities, help coordinate strategic initiatives, and provide day-to-day support to internal stakeholders and external partners. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands‑on experience across sales, marketing, product management, and business strategy while contributing to the continued growth of the CDR business. The base salary is determined by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s skills, experience, and job‑related knowledge, as well as geographic location and specific business needs. Our compensation philosophy supports ongoing growth and development, enabling progression within the salary range as team members advance in their roles. How you'll succeed
- Sales & Business Support – Support senior sales professionals through presentation development, meeting preparation, reporting, client communications, and business development initiatives. Assist in identifying opportunities to grow CDR adoption across advisor and self‑directed investor channels. Travel may be required within Canada at times to ensure client coverage.
- Marketing & Communications – Help create presentations, website content, educational materials, webinars, newsletters, videos, and other marketing initiatives designed to grow awareness and adoption of CDRs.
- Business Strategy & Project Coordination – Support new product launches, strategic initiatives, conferences, webinars, and business development projects. Research industry trends, competitor developments, and investor behaviour to help identify new opportunities and contribute to strategic decision-making.
- Relationship Building – Develop strong partnerships with clients, and across the Wealth Solutions Group and broader organisation while building expertise in capital markets and investment products.
- Attention to Detail – Ensure accuracy, professionalism, and timely execution across communications, presentations, reporting, and project deliverables.
Who you are
You hold an undergraduate degree in Business, Commerce, Finance, Economics, Marketing, Communications, Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) is considered an asset. You are a motivated self‑starter with strong analytical, organisational, and problem‑solving skills. You are an excellent communicator with experience developing presentations, written content, and client‑facing materials. You are highly proficient in Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Bloomberg, Python, VBA, AI tools, digital communications, or website content management is an asset.
You can manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. You are curious, entrepreneurial, and eager to learn.
