Mission

Within manufacturing operations, the Process Technician supports the execution of technical projects by analyzing work methods and structuring operational practices. He or she plays a central role in defining, measuring, and standardizing work methods to improve the efficiency and consistency of operations.

Reporting to the Project Coordinator - Industrial Engineering, they work closely with the production, maintenance, and engineering teams.

In this role, you will have the prospect to:
Conduct time studies and analyze work methods
Establish, document, and maintain work instructions
Define and ensure the updating of operational standards
Contribute to process analysis and the identification of variances
Support workplace layout and optimization projects
Participate in the implementation of technical and organizational solutions
Ensure that operational documentation is kept up to date
Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent application of methods
Participate in job and task analyses (ergonomics and safety)
Support the Project Manager in monitoring field activities

Profile

With the following skills and qualities, you’ll thrive in this role:




Associate’s degree in industrial engineering, manufacturing engineering, or a related field
0 to 3 years of experience in a manufacturing workplace
Experience with or interest in time studies and work methods
Robust understanding of manufacturing environments
Proficiency with computer tools (Excel, etc.)
