Cross Safety is seeking a Health and Safety Specialist to advise clients and ensure adherence to OHS requirements. In this full-time role, you will focus on improving safety through regular inspections, training, and incident reporting. The position demands a proactive approach to fostering a safety culture while working closely with various teams in the construction and civil nuclear sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct safety orientations and training for in office workers
- Perform ongoing safety inspections and enforce corrective actions




- Engage in JHA and worker-led safety meetings
- Document health and safety incidents and reporting
- Prepare comprehensive health and safety reports as needed

Requirements:

- Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent
- Minimum five years’ experience in high hazard environments
- CRSP, CRST, ROH, CIH certification required
- Strong knowledge of Ontario safety laws
- Valid Class G driver's license needed
