You'll collaborate with the Mental Health and Addictions Program, ensuring legal representation for various services.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide legal advice to Nova Scotia Health’s leadership
- Represent NSH in legal matters with external parties




- Analyze and resolve complex legal issues independently
- Advise on mental health law and administrative procedures
- Collaborate effectively with healthcare professionals and legal teams

Requirements:

- Bachelor of Law (LLB/JD) required
- Minimum 8 years relevant legal experience
- Practising member of the Nova Scotia Barristers’ Society
- Robust analytical and research skills
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities
