This full-time position is pivotal in evolving the Management System for Workplace, Health & Safety. You will oversee incident investigations, conduct site inspections, and deliver expert safety training. Collaborating with a dedicated team, you'll play a key role in creating a safe work environment while enjoying the unique lifestyle of the West Kootenay region.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain and enhance the EHS Management System
• Conduct safety inspections and field support
• Oversee incident investigations and corrective actions




• Develop safety training programs and maintain records
• Monitor compliance through audits and risk assessments
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety
• 5 years of experience in utility or industrial safety
• Current OHS certification (CRSP/ROH)
• Valid Class 5 BC Driver’s Licence
• Occupational First Aid Level 3 certification
