As a vital member of the OBS Labour & Delivery department, you will be responsible for delivering nursing care in a fast-paced workplace. Candidates should have experience in birthing centers or acute care, alongside strong competencies in patient education and infection control. Your role will be critical in empowering families during their healthcare journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and evaluate family-centered nursing care
• Assist in delivering care during childbirth and postpartum
• Maintain CPR and BCLS for patient safety




• Educate patients about their care and treatment options
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team
Requirements:
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 1 year birthing-centre or 3 years acute-care experience
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Skills in catheter management and IV line removal
• Completion of several required nursing courses
