As a People and Safety Specialist, your role encompasses overseeing compliance with health and safety legislation while supporting workplace accommodations and leave management. You will act as a liaison between employees and leadership, addressing health and safety concerns. Your expertise will be vital in promoting a protected and compliant working environment across multiple provinces, including Quebec.
Key Responsibilities:
• Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety programs
• Manage documentation of workplace incidents thoroughly
• Facilitate Joint Health and Safety Committee activities and compliance




• Support the administration of employee accommodations
• Analyze trends related to workplace injuries and absenteeism
Requirements:
• Relevant education in Human Resources or Health & Safety
• CHRP or CHRL designation required or in progress
• 3-5 years of HR experience with health and safety focus
• Familiarity with employment rights and health & safety laws
• Excellent stakeholder management abilities
