Role: Senior Prompt Engineer

Location: Any Rogers Client Office Brampton, Ontario (near Toronto) | Calgary, Alberta, Canada (5 days onsite)

Rate : CAD $60-65/hr on T2 (W2 of Canada).

Position Overview

Seeking an enterprise-grade Prompt Engineer with 5+ years in Conversational AI/NLP and 2+ years of hands-on Prompt Engineering to architect, optimize, and govern AI-powered conversational workflows for Contact Center platforms. This 100% on-site role (5 days/week) focuses on designing customer self-service virtual agents, agent-assist solutions, and enterprise knowledge retrieval using Google CCAI/GECX, Dialogflow CX, Gemini, Claude, and GPT-4. The engineer will establish reusable prompt frameworks, define RAG grounding strategies, reduce hallucinations, and build automated LLM evaluation pipelines (Python, JSON, APIs).

Key Responsibilities

- Prompt Engineering & Framework Design: Design, develop, test, and optimize prompts, guardrails, and system instructions for virtual agents, agent-assist tools, and customer self-service applications across Google CCAI, Dialogflow CX, Gemini, Claude, and OpenAI platforms.
- LLM Evaluation & Model Comparison: Define prompt testing methodologies, benchmarking metrics, and evaluation frameworks (accuracy, hallucination reduction, response consistency, token efficiency, latency, cost optimization) across multi-LLM environments.
- RAG & Knowledge Grounding: Support Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) architectures, vector database integrations, and enterprise knowledge grounding strategies to ensure hallucination-free, context-aware responses.
- Governance & Responsible AI:



Establish enterprise prompt governance standards, safety guardrails, PII redaction patterns, and compliance protocols for production AI deployments.
- Agile Sourcing & Production Integration: Collaborate with Product Owners, Conversational Designers, Data Scientists, and Business SMEs to translate business requirements into prompt libraries, reusable interaction patterns, and API payloads (Python/JSON).
- Continuous Analytics & Optimization: Analyze conversational logs, user feedback, and contact center metrics to iteratively refine prompts, improve intent matching, and boost Customer Satisfaction (CSAT).

Required Skillset

- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in Conversational AI, NLP, or AI Engineering, with at least 2+ years of dedicated, hands-on Prompt Engineering on enterprise LLM platforms.
- Enterprise AI & Contact Center Stack: Direct experience with Google CCAI/GECX, Dialogflow CX, Gemini, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI GPT models, or similar Generative AI platforms.
- Technical & Scripting Proficiency: Hands-on command of Python, JavaScript, REST APIs, JSON formatting, Vector Databases, and AI integration pipelines.
- Prompt Design & Grounding: Proven mastery in chain-of-thought prompting, few-shot learning, system instructions, RAG, and LLM evaluation techniques.
- On-site Mandate: Available to work 100% in office (5 days/week) at any USA Infosys or Rogers office location.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to Agentic AI architectures, multi-agent frameworks (LangChain, Vertex AI, Azure OpenAI, Amazon Bedrock), and vector search integrations.
- Telecommunications domain experience or contact center modernization background (NOC/Telecom customer operations).
