Nipissing-Parry Sound Catholic District School Board is hiring an Information Systems Technologist to enhance technology use across its school sites. This full-time role focuses on providing essential technical support and deploying classroom technology.
In this role, you'll troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across various platforms, assist users, and maintain Board-owned technology. A two-year post-secondary diploma in IT and three years of experience in a complex networked environment are required. You'll also document technical procedures, support technology lifecycle processes, and collaborate with various stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to staff through remote and on-site assistance
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and connectivity issues




• Install and configure classroom equipment and applications
• Document all service and troubleshooting efforts
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and technology processes
Requirements:
• Two-year post-secondary diploma in IT or related area
• Three years of relevant tech support experience
• Experience with endpoint devices and operating systems
• Valid Ontario Class “G” Driver's Licence
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
