Serve as a pivotal Correctional Officer ensuring inmate safety and compliance. Manage administrative tasks and inmate programs in a relief capacity with versatile shifts.
This position focuses on the custody and supervision of individuals in correctional settings. As a Correctional Officer, you will be responsible for maintaining facility security, assisting with inmate activities, and managing documentation through the case management system. You will also supervise programs contributing to inmates' behavioral change and reintegration into society.
Key Responsibilities:
• Monitor and supervise compliance within correctional facilities
• Conduct inmate counts and safety checks regularly
• Manage inmate visits, programming, and daily activities
• Perform administrative duties and document communications
• Facilitate teamwork and promote wellness initiatives
Requirements:
• High-school diploma and 2 years relevant experience
• Experience in correctional, security, or law enforcement
• Understanding of automated systems preferred
• Competence in working with diverse populations
• Leadership experience with community programs beneficial
