Role Description

The Shift Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at our Domino's Pizza location in Duncan, BC. This role oversees daily store operations during assigned shifts, including coordinating team members, ensuring food preparation meets quality and safety standards, and maintaining a clean, organized workspace. The Shift Manager handles customer interactions, resolves concerns, and supports efficient order taking, pizza making, and delivery dispatch. Responsibilities also include monitoring inventory levels, assisting with cash handling and basic reporting, training and coaching team members, and reinforcing company policies and procedures.



The role requires leading by example, promoting excellent service, and helping create a positive, inclusive work environment.

Qualifications

- Experience in customer service and hospitality, with strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional approach.
- Leadership and team management abilities, including supervising staff, delegating tasks, and supporting performance and training.
- Basic operational and organizational skills, such as time management, cash handling, and inventory awareness.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced food service environment, including standing for extended periods and performing hands-on tasks in the kitchen.
- Clear communication skills and the ability to handle customer feedback and resolve issues constructively.
- Availability for a adaptable schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience in restaurant or quick-service operations is an asset but not required; willingness to learn and follow food safety and hygiene standards is essential.
