Position Overview

Senior Mine Engineer – Seabee Gold Operation, SSR Mining Inc.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement mining engineering processes, procedures, and best practices.
- Support planning, scheduling, ventilation, ground control, services, and projects.
- Lead infrastructure projects, feasibility studies, equipment procurement, and CAE packages.
- Create and automate reports, analyze mining data, and provide technical documentation.
- Support ice road procurement and resupply forecasting.
- Implement and maintain Deswik.OPs to integrate mid‑range and short‑range plans.
- Calculate mineable reserves in collaboration with business partners.
- Identify and implement operational excellence initiatives.
- Ensure quality standards and adherence to industry design programs.
- Assist in preparation of medium and long‑range mine plans.
- Provide safety leadership and promote a high‑risk‑free culture.
- Perform any other duties as assigned.

Education & Experience

- Certificate or Diploma in Mining Technology with 15 years underground experience, or
- Degree in Mine Engineering (or related field) with 10 years underground experience.
- Experience with Deswik and Deswik.OPs preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Power Query, and Power BI.

Working Conditions

2‑weeks on, 2‑weeks off schedule at the Seabee remote camp. Fly‑in/fly‑out required with pickup points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert, and La Ronge.
