Become a 1st Cook with LandSea at the MV Isabelle in Squamish, BC. This supervised culinary role has exciting responsibilities, including food preparation, staff coordination, and menu management.
This is a temporary role from September 17th, 2026, to January 30th, 2027, with three openings available. As a 1st Cook, you will oversee culinary activities, manage food inventory, and ensure high food quality standards while working in a unique Floatel environment. Your experience in an industrial kitchen and proven leadership skills will drive the kitchen team's success.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and organize food preparation and culinary activities
• Assist Chef with menu ordering and inventory management
• Ensure daily food production levels are met




• Supervise kitchen staff and maintain all food safety standards
• Complete cleaning tasks as outlined in schedules
Requirements:
• 3-5 years of supervisory experience in cooking
• Food Safety certification for British Columbia
• Proven skills in inventory management
• Strong English written and verbal communication
• Ability to work in a diverse workplace
