This role involves planning and facilitating recreational activities that enhance skills, social interactions, and overall resident happiness. You will collaborate with various departments and engage in continuous evaluation of programs to ensure effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and implement enjoyable recreation activities daily
• Maintain inviting and functional spaces for resident involvement
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and volunteers




• Document participation changes and adjust care plans as needed
• Coordinate with departments to encourage meaningful engagement
Requirements:
• Prior experience working with seniors preferred
• Degree or enrollment in recreation or therapeutic recreation studies
• Skills in recreational planning and activity facilitation
• Knowledge of health care standards in a long-term setting
• Enthusiasm for promoting a vibrant community for seniors
