You will work in a temporary full time position that begins in August 2026. An ideal candidate will possess a university degree in journalism, coupled with at least three years of related experience, ready to thrive in a fast-paced environment and connect with local communities.
Key Responsibilities:
• Source and report on community stories
• Immediately respond to breaking news across platforms
• Edit and publish digital content from colleagues
• Experiment with new video formats for digital platforms
• Ensure stories meet CBC’s high journalistic standards
Requirements:
• Journalism degree with three years of experience
• Comprehensive understanding of video and audio reporting
• Strong community ties in Regina and southern Saskatchewan
• Effective under deadline pressure
• Ability to drive and meet CBC's insurance criteria
