Using Descartes TMS and ASP within WMS, you'll ensure on-time delivery while managing transportation resources efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
• Schedule and dispatch company trucks for customer deliveries
• Utilize WMS and TMS for shipment planning and routing
• Communicate with customers to arrange delivery details
• Process bills of lading and custom documents as needed
• Actively improve shipping processes and accuracy
Requirements:
• High School Diploma minimum
• Background in shipping or logistics coordination required
• Familiarity with OTIF performance metrics
• Proficiency in Word and robust Excel skills
• Must demonstrate a pleasant and positive demeanor
