Full-time vacant permanent position – Hybrid (London, Ontario). About the Relationship Manager position CHN is currently seeking a Relationship Manager located in London, Ontario. As a Relationship Manager you have robust relationship-building skills and can problem-solve issues as they arise. A day might involve welcoming new students to their new community, talking to the student’s school or host family about academic or social issues, and discussing homestay responsibilities with a Canadian host. As an integral member of our Operations Team, you’ll use your strong communication and judgment skills daily to help build and grow our homestay network. This is a permanent full-time position (30 to 40 hours per week) in London, Ontario. Core hours are 10:00 AM–3:00 PM local time, with some flexibility for remaining hours. There may be evenings and weekends for events or emergencies. It is a hybrid role with an hourly wage between $19.00 and $21.00. Key Responsibilities Monitor and manage relationships between internal and external stakeholders Support homestay hosts, natural parents, and students in interpreting cultural practices and differences Plan and deliver in‑person training to hosts as well as in‑person orientations for hosts and new students Communicate and maintain accurate records Build a supportive local community of host families Support student and host family relationships throughout their program in a variety of ways Respond to crisis situations promptly and caringly and refer cases to health professionals where appropriate Assume custodianship for the local region/community students under the age of 18 as required (up to 100 km) Travel within the local community and surrounding areas The successful candidate will have At least two years of homestay or related work experience One‑year Community College Certificate or Diploma International experience including hosting students or traveling abroad (preferred) Ability to plan events and comfort with public speaking Great judgment and decision‑making skills while exercising a high degree of confidentiality Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment with a potential of high‑stress situations Exceptional customer service skills and experience Excellent Word, Excel, email, and database skills Ability to confidently communicate in English; it is ideal to speak a second language Superior organizational skills and ability to hold yourself accountable while working independently Strong ability to develop and maintain relationships with both colleagues and clients This role requires the successful candidate to be at least 25 years of age and a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
