The London Fire Department is looking for dynamic candidates for 15 full time permanent firefighter positions. Excelling in firefighting, vehicle extrication, community education, and medical aid are fundamental aspects of this role. Successful applicants will actively contribute to special teams, including Ice and Water Rescue and Hazardous Materials.
Key Responsibilities:
• Respond to emergency calls promptly and effectively
• Combat fires and ventilate buildings as required
• Provide first aid and CPR in emergencies




• Conduct routine equipment maintenance and inspections
• Participate in public education projects
Requirements:
• Minimum Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
• Current IFSAC/ProBoard Firefighter Level 1 & 2 certification
• Valid Ontario Class D driver’s license with Z endorsement
• Current First Aid, CPR & AED certification
• Successful completion of OFAI Candidate Testing Services
