Fantastic Beasts Vet Services is looking for someone with experience in veterinary medicine and/or human healthcare to help organize our sparkly night unicorns!

The Fantastic Beasts mission statement is to increase veterinary accessibility on Vancouver Island, and we work toward this goal with a unique 3-division practice model. Our first division is a traditional hospital providing primary care, surgery, dentistry, diagnostics, and urgent services with all your standard in-house equipment and capacity. The second is division is dedicated to working with non-profit animal rescue organizations providing high-quality, high-volume spay/neuter services. We also have a Pawsitive Care division that aims to bring low-cost services to those facing financial difficulties.

We are currently working toward a goal of expanding hours at our Parksville location to be 24/7 by the end of 2026. In order to achieve this goal,



we need someone to support our vets and keep things flowing smoothly so they can focus on medicine and patient care! This location has 10 veterinarians and a cheerful, sparkly vibe (we are a team of unicorns living in a rainbow clinic)!

Wage will be based on education, experience, and responsibilities (ranging from $30-$35/hr). This role requires a versatile schedule and availability during evening hours (ie - 12pm - 12am shifts)

Our ideal candidate has:

- Impeccable customer relations
- Experience in client de-escalation
- Practice leading a group of employees (has previously managed 10-20 people)
- Experience in the veterinary profession (ie - previous receptionist, assistant, or technologist)
- Experience with EzyVet practice management software
- Evening/late night availability (shifts will be evening and/or late night)
