As a Manager, Cloud Accounting Services your responsibilities will include:

Client Leadership and Advisory

Lead client engagements across cloud accounting, operational finance, and advisory services

Act as a trusted point of contact for clients, including owners, executive directors, finance leaders, and municipal staff

Support and deliver fractional controller and CFO‑for‑hire services such as cash flow management, budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and process improvement

Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through additional advisory and project work

Engagement Delivery and Quality

Oversee month‑end and quarter‑end close processes for complex clients

Review working papers, reconciliations, and financial statements to ensure quality and accuracy

Plan and manage engagement timelines, staffing, and budgets

Ensure work is delivered efficiently using cloud‑based technologies and standardized workflows

Team Leadership and Development





Lead, coach, and develop junior team members

Allocate work, review outputs, and provide clear, practical feedback

Support performance development through coaching, on‑the‑job learning, and file review processes

Contribute to building a strong, collaborative team culture

Practice Growth and Improvement

Contribute to the growth and development of the practice

Support the adoption of new tools, processes, and AI‑enabled workflows

Assist with proposals, scoping, and pricing of client work where appropriate

Share knowledge and practical insights across the team

Qualifications

A passion for technology and cutting-edge thinking

CPA or CPB Designation or equivalent experience required

6+ years accounting related experience

QuickBooks ProAdvisor and Xero Certification; experience with Dext, Plooto, and Hubdoc

Experience with cloud based payroll, payment processing and CRMs preferred including Wagepoint and Payworks

Superior technical expertise in accounting, both privately held business and publicly listed company experience considered an asset

Strong management skills, especially in areas of scheduling, organizing, supervising and collaborating across teams

We believe compensation should reflect more than just market data—it should reflect you. Our salary ranges are reviewed annually, and where you land within the range depends on a mix of factors—your background, your skills, and how your contributions align with internal equity. The current salary range for this role is $78,700–$108,000 in South Surrey. If the role is available in other locations, the range may differ to reflect local market factors.
