Become part of Ducks Unlimited Canada's mission by serving as a Wetland Ecology Biologist. This role combines biodiversity research and impactful outreach in a dynamic conservation environment.
As a key member of the conservation team, this full-time position is based in Stonewall, MB, with opportunities for hybrid or work from home. You will report to a Research Scientist and engage in significant research, data analysis, and collaboration to further DUC’s objectives. Your work will directly inform habitat conservation methods across Canada.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform applied research in biodiversity and conservation science
• Analyze and interpret ecological data effectively
• Co-author scientific papers and technical communications
• Partner with diverse stakeholders for conservation initiatives
• Create educational content to share research findings
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in wildlife biology or related discipline
• Three years of relevant ecology experience
• Skilled in ArcGIS and ecological data handling
• Experience in fieldwork and data collection
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
