The General Maintenance Labourer is located in Toronto, ON and typically reports directly to the Facility Manager.
Duties and responsibilities
- Using hand and power tools
- Patching and Painting
- Lifting and Moving equipment
- Power washing and other cleaning
- Warehouse rack inspections and repairs
- Perform minor repairs and general maintenance duties associated with building systems
- Provide vacation coverage for other operators

WORK EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- 1-5 years in general building repairs
- Warehouse experience is an asset
SKILLS, ABILITIES, AND OTHER REQUIREMENTS
- Due to many mandatory vaccination requirements at client projects / facilities, in order to provide substantial employment by ensuring compliance with our client’s mandates, the successful candidate will be required to validate full vaccination prior to hire.
- Bending and lifting required; lifting under 30 kg
- Ability to climb stairs and work on a ladder, lift equipment, or scaffold as required
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Must be able to successfully obtain and maintain necessary security clearances
The expected salary range for this role is determined in accordance with the union collective agreement.
