Our financial services client is seeking a C# Trading Systems Developer (10+ years) to develop and enhance low-latency electronic FX trading systems using C# .NET and FIX protocol

Join an Electronic FX trading team supporting business-critical components within a global trading platform environment. This role focuses on developing and maintaining low-latency C# .NET trading systems, supporting market data distribution and electronic trade flows, and contributing to backend service migration initiatives. The position involves collaboration across a portfolio of trading applications while supporting performance, scalability, and operational reliability.

Contract duration: 6 months contract with possible extension

Must Haves

- 7+ years of professional C# .NET development experience
- Strong technical expertise is required for this role, including experience with optimizing software performance and reducing latency
- Familiar with the FIX protocol
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; eager to ask questions; able to clearly explain ideas
- Strong collaborative and team skills
- Strong multi-threaded programming skills
- Strong understanding of financial markets and electronic trading systems

Nice to Have

- Familiarity with Broadway FX
- Familiarity with Java
- Previous banking experience

Responsibilities

- Design and develop software solutions for trading systems
- Develop algorithms and data structures aligned with platform and architectural requirements
- Create test cases to support software stability and reliability
- Collaborate with teams to research and implement trading system changes
- Communicate with operations teams regarding new features and strategy behaviors
- Support production issues through root-cause analysis and diagnosis




- Process business requirements and execute implementation proposals independently or with the team
