As part of the Substance Use Recovery and Shelter Services, the Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) contributes vital medical support through trauma-informed care. In this full-time, permanent role, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to promote the physical and mental well-being of residents. Solid communication and clinical judgment skills are essential as you engage with individuals through their recovery process.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver personalized nursing care in an abstinence-based program
• Assist with medical assessments and treatment plans
• Educate residents about health and wellness
• Document and manage residents' clinical records
• Foster positive and supportive relationships with residents
Requirements:
• Completion of a 2-year College Diploma in Practical Nursing
• Registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• 1+ years of experience in a nursing role
• Competency in Microsoft Office applications
• Bilingual English and French is a strong asset
