Job Description

- Inspect products to verify conformance to customer specifications.
- Complete Progress report – identify the job and the starting time.
- Review the Work Order for special instructions.
- Assure the set-up is correct for the job.
- Assure the station layout, tags and labels are appropriate for the job.
- Complete Sign-Off checklist and have it signed by the appropriate person.
- Inspect parts – assure patents and margins are correct with no blotches.
- Perform hand manipulation when required – peeling waste off the part.
- Rework, repair, and replace damaged parts or assemblies.
- Set and verify parts clearances.
- Verify conformance of parts using measuring instruments such as punch box or templates.
- Cut trim parts for assembly.
- Examine completed workpieces for defects such as chipped edges and marred surfaces.
- Set up, operate, or tend machines to slit or punch material.
- Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

- High School Diploma
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.

Physical Demands

- This position involves sitting for long periods of time.
- Lifting capability of up to 25-50 lbs.
- Constant upper body movement, including use of arms and hands, bending and twisting.
