Job Description

Seeking an experienced Applications Architect with 10+ years of experience to lead solution architecture, cloud application design, enterprise architecture artifacts, and technical governance for large-scale public sector IT projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Design and develop cloud/SaaS application architectures and technical solutions.
- Create enterprise architecture artifacts including:
- Business Architecture Document (BAD)
- Solution Architecture Document (SAD)
- Solution Requirements Document (SRD)
- Information Architecture Document (IAD)

- Lead architecture review board (ARB) activities and project gating approvals.
- Develop logical/physical data models, data dictionaries, CRUD matrices, and integration/interface documentation.
- Ensure privacy, security, testing, and compliance requirements are addressed.
- Support UAT/testing, onboarding documentation, and knowledge transfer activities.




- Collaborate with business, technical, and stakeholder teams throughout project lifecycle.

Must-Have Skills

- 10+ years of IT architecture experience.
- Solid experience with:
- Cloud and SaaS architecture
- RESTful APIs and integration patterns
- Enterprise security and application security best practices
- Microservices, layered, and event‑driven architecture

- Experience with structured SDLC methodologies.
- Expertise in enterprise architecture standards and artifacts.
- Hands‑on experience with architecture modeling tools such as:

- Enterprise Architect
- Power Designer

- Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, and PowerPoint.

Preferred

- Public Sector experience.
- Experience leading large‑scale integrated enterprise projects.
