The Shipping and Receiving Associate is responsible for various tasks involving the efficient loading and unloading of products. You will enter carrier trailers into the receiving system and handle both incoming and outgoing materials while adhering to FIFO protocols. Solid organizational skills are essential for this role, as daily operational efficiency impacts customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
• Receive trailers at the dock and enter into the system
• Unload and store product according to FIFO
• Inform Production Control of any variances
• Prepare shipping documentation including ASNs and BOLs
• Participate in inventory cycle counting for traceability
Requirements:
• High School Diploma required
• Previous forklift operation experience
• Familiarity with MS Office and inventory software
• Knowledge of part numbers is an asset
• Commitment to safety and operational standards
