Jardeg is recruiting Steamfitter/Pipefitter Apprentices for Woodland Constructors Ltd. at the Dow Path2Zero site in Fort Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities:
- Layout, assemble, fabricate, maintain, and repair piping systems which carry water, steam, chemicals, or fuel used in heating, cooling, lubricating and other processes.
- Demonstrate knowledge of functional operation of various piping system components by measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and bending of pipes, valves, and fittings.
- Use testing equipment effectively to check for system leaks and troubleshoot fitting errors.
Requirements:
- Valid Steamfitter-Pipefitter Apprentice Card
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Fall Protection (Must be in class)
- Confined Space and Entry
- Must be able to work in extreme weather temperatures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
- Satisfactory completion of Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test
