BGC Hamilton-Halton is seeking a dedicated Aquatics Supervisor. This role involves mentoring lifeguards, coordinating swim activities, and maintaining pool safety. You will utilize your expertise in recreational programming to foster an environment where youth can achieve their potential while delivering high-quality aquatic services.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support delivery of aquatics programming aligned with LSS standards
• Supervise, mentor, and train staff and volunteers effectively
• Maintain strong relationships with community partners and parents
• Oversee camp swims, swim lessons,



and wellness programs
• Administer first aid and ensure thorough pool maintenance
Requirements:
• Degree in recreation, child and youth work, or related field
• Current NLS and lifeguard certifications
• Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience
• Solid aquatic programming knowledge
• Valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle
