Our Environmental Services team is recruiting Field Technicians for the upcoming archaeology season, starting April-May 2026. You’ll participate in extensive outdoor labor, archaeological excavations, and artifact handling. This role requires travel across Ontario and may involve overnight work depending on project demands.
Key Responsibilities:
• Under licensed archaeologists, carry out various field activities
• Execute site excavation and monitor quality
• Document sites and collect artifacts accurately
• Follow Stantec's safety and environmental protocols
• Build partnerships with Indigenous communities
Requirements:
• Must have experience with strenuous outdoor work
• Availability for travel across Ontario
• Preferred: Full G driver’s license in valuable standing
• Ability to work well both independently and in teams
• Willingness to learn and adapt
