Ongwanada is hiring both full-time and part time Residential Counsellors. This position requires open availability and participation in planning and implementing residential programs. You will be a primary support for clients, offering assistance with daily activities and ensuring safety across the board.
Key Responsibilities:
• Promote a person-centered care approach
• Assist with daily living activities and personal hygiene
• Monitor and administer prescribed medications
• Develop and implement Support and Behavioral Support Plans
• Drive clients to necessary appointments and activities
Requirements:
• Graduate in related field, such as DSW or BA Psychology
• CPR, First Aid, and crisis intervention certifications
• Completion of an Ongwanada pharmacology course
• Valid class G driving license
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Engage in meaningful support and advocacy for individuals at Ongwanada's community-based programs.
