In this role, you will help ensure that modernized regulatory systems across insurance, mortgage, licensing, and supervision domains meet business needs and uphold the highest standards of compliance.As a key member of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you will lead the end-to-end UAT process including shaping test strategies, coordinating user testing activities, managing defect resolution, and delivering clear, actionable reporting. Your work will directly contribute to validating system functionality, safeguarding data integrity, and ensuring business workflows are ready for production, ultimately enabling the delivery of high-quality, reliable solutions that support FSRA’s public mandate.KEY RESPONSIBILITIESUAT Planning & ExecutionDevelop and execute UAT strategies, plans, and test cases aligned with business requirementsLead UAT cycles across multiple workstreams (licensing, supervision, insurance, mortgage)Facilitate testing sessions, ensuring feedback, issue resolution,



and stakeholder sign-offDefine entry/exit criteria and track progress, risks, and dependenciesValidate end-to-end processes, workflows, and rules in Dynamics 365 and AzureTest complex scenarios (case management, regulatory workflows, compliance, exceptions)Ensure alignment with regulatory, policy, and operational requirementsManage defects using Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar toolsSupport CI/CD pipelines with automated testingValidate role-based security and access controlsBuild and maintain UAT dashboards and reporting (Azure DevOps, Power BI)Collaboration & Stakeholder EngagementPartner with SMEs, Product Owners, and technical teams to align testing with business goalsTranslate requirements into test scenarios and acceptance criteriaCommunicate UAT progress, risks, defects, and outcomesLead defect triage and support release decisionsTrain and guide business users on UAT processes and toolsData Migration & ValidationValidate data migration accuracy, completeness, and integrity across legacy and target systems.Perform reconciliation testing to ensure data quality and business continuity.Verify data transformation rules and mapping.Investigate and resolve data anomalies with technical teams.Integration & Data Flow TestingValidate end-to-end data flows and transactions across integrated systemsTest APIs, middleware, and third-party integrationsEnsure upstream and downstream impacts are coveredDefect ManagementLog, track, and prioritize defectsCollaborate with teams for root cause analysis and resolutionConduct retesting and regression testingAdditional ContributionsContribute to testing strategy, governance, and continuous improvement initiatives.Support change management and business readiness activitiesParticipate in cutover planning, production validation,



and hypercare supportQUALIFICATIONSEducation:Post-secondary education in information technology, computer science, business systems, quality assurance, business administration, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.ExperienceA minimum of 5 years progressive experience in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) or business system testingStrong experience working with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (D365)Experience in regulatory domains such as insurance, financial services, or licensing systemsExperience testing business processes, workflows, and large system changes or upgradesKNOWLEDGE AND SKILLSTechnical SkillsUnderstanding of:Business process testingData migration and data validationSystem integration and data flowsExperience using test management tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jira, or similar)Basic knowledge of SQL for data validation is an assetFamiliarity with D365 applications and system integrationsCore SkillsExcellent communication and stakeholder relationship skills and ability to work with both business and technical teams aligning UAT objectives with business users and developers.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesAbility to work in a fast-paced, multi-stream programDetail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracyAssets or Preferred QualificationsExperience in the public sector or with regulatory organizationsKnowledge of compliance and governance processesExperience working in Agile or Scrum environmentsFamiliarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate)Please note that this position will close at 12AM on the closing dateCompensation Grade:Grade 224-OPSEU ADMCompensation Range:$1,628.82$2,104.14Bargaining Unit:OPSEUJob Code:Job Code: 17160Employment Type:RegularScheduled Weekly Hours:36.25FSRA is committed to ensuring equity in employment.
