Reporting to the Director of Care, your role includes ensuring accurate resident assessments and maintaining comprehensive care plans. You will administer medications, respond to emergencies, and facilitate education for residents and families, ensuring all care meets regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide direct care and monitor resident health
• Coordinate with medical staff and families
• Respond to medical emergencies with first aid
• Ensure compliance with care quality guidelines
• Document all nursing care accurately
Requirements:
• Registered Practical Nurse license in an applicable province
• Experience in gerontology or long-term care preferred
• Current Basic Cardiac Life Support certification
• Excellent communication and care coordination skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications
