In this position, you will work within the Child and Family Wellbeing program to empower clients through tailored support plans. You will collaborate with social workers and provide advocacy and resource connection for families, emphasizing emotional and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities:
• Craft and implement strategies for client support
• Facilitate positive interactions with diverse clients
• Connect clients to community services and support
• Provide assistance with life skills and housing needs
• Visit clients independently in their communities
Requirements:
• Approved Child & Youth Care Worker diploma
• Experience in social services or child welfare preferred
• Robust communication and relationship-building skills
• Ability to adapt to client needs and changing situations
• Proficiency in Microsoft Suite and relevant software
