This role is focused on the safe and efficient operation of excavators, beginning in May and extending through December, with year-round opportunities. Responsibilities include following the ground crew's instructions, ensuring excavation accuracy, and maintaining safety protocols. You will also perform equipment inspections and communicate effectively with your team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Operate heavy equipment to excavate and grade
• Follow trench excavation specifications accurately
• Conduct safety and maintenance checks daily




• Alert Foreman to maintenance needs and repairs
• Ensure compliance with OH&S; requirements
Requirements:
• Requires 2 years of practical construction experience
• Must understand construction site protocols
• Experience with advanced grading techniques preferred
• Robust communication skills for teamwork
• 8" CSA approved steel toe boots required
