This casual, on-call role involves working alongside traumatized youth in a nurturing workplace. Ideal candidates have a diploma in Child and Youth Care or a related field, and at least one year of relevant experience. Your role includes working towards clients' Individual Support Plans and assisting with life skills development.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support clients in achieving goals outlined in their Individual Support Plan
• Supervise and address complex emotional and social needs
• Apply de-escalation techniques during challenging behaviors




• Encourage life skills development through daily activities
• Accompany clients to appointments and community activities
Requirements:
• Diploma or Degree in related fields
• Minimum one year of relevant experience
• Valid BC Driver’s Class 5 License
• CPR/First Aid and Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training
• Criminal Record Check prior to employment
