Waterdown Montessori School has a rich history and has been in the Burlington/Waterdown community for over 40 years. We are a CCMA-accredited school and are fully licensed with the Ministry of Education, offering education for children ages 18 months – 12 years. We are currently seeking a Guide to join us at either the toddler or casa level, with the possibility of it being an assistant role to begin with if you have limited classroom experience.
Requirements
- AMI or MACTE accredited diploma
- previous Montessori experience
- patience, positive attitude, kindness, friendly demeanor and love and respect for children
- ability to work well with others
- outstanding verbal and written communication skills
- excellent program planning skills and thorough knowledge of the Montessori program
- experience working in a collaborative Montessori setting
- current criminal reference check
- current First Aid and CPR and up to date medical records
- we will need two references from you
