The Shelter Resource Worker reports to the Site Manager, working collaboratively within a 24/7 emergency shelter. You will provide intakes, orientations, and support for guests, connecting them with community services and addressing their immediate needs. This role demands effective communication, crisis intervention skills, and the ability to foster a safe environment for vulnerable individuals.
Key Responsibilities:
• Support and supervise homeless adults facing various barriers
• Accept referrals and share information with community resources




• Connect guests to necessary community services

Requirements:
• Relevant Certificate or Grade 12 with two years of related experience
• Current Occupational First Aid Level 1 Certification
